thoracodorsal nerve

thoracodorsal nerve /thôr′əkōdôr″səl/ [Gk, thorax + L, dorsum, back] , the middle subscapular nerve, a branch of the brachial plexus, usually arising between the upper and lower subscapular nerves. It courses along the posterior wall of the axilla and terminates in branches that supply the latissimus dorsi.
