Reid’s baseline

Reid’s baseline [Robert W. Reid, Scottish anatomist, 1851–1939] , the baseline of the skull, a hypothetic line extending from the inferior orbital ridge to the center of the aperture of the external auditory meatus. Also called Frankfurt line.
