popliteal pterygium syndrome, 1. a congenital syndrome consisting chiefly of popliteal webs, cleft palate, lower lip pits, and dysplasia of the toenails. A wide variety of other abnormalities may be associated. Also called popliteal web syndrome. 2. popliteal webbing associated with cleft lip and palate, fistula of the lower lip, syndactyly, nail dysplasia, and clubfoot. Also called Fèvre-Languepin syndrome.
