osteopathy (osteo)

osteopathy (osteo) /os′tē·op″əthē/ [Gk, osteon + pathos, disease] , a therapeutic approach to the practice of medicine that uses all the usual forms of medical diagnosis and therapy, including drugs, surgery, and radiation, but that places greater emphasis on the relationship between the organs and the musculoskeletal system than traditional medicine does.
