odontoma /ō′dontō″mə/ [Gk, odous + oma, tumor] , the most common of odontogenic tumors, a benign tumor consisting of cementum, dentin, enamel, and pulp tissue that may be arranged in the form of teeth (compound odontoma) or as an unrecognizable mass of enamel and dentin (complex odontoma). Also called gestant anomaly.
