neurolepsis

neurolepsis /-lep′sis/ [Gk, neuron + lepsis, seizure] , an altered state of consciousness, as induced by a neuroleptic agent, characterized by quiescence, reduced motor activity, decreased anxiety, and indifference to the surroundings.
