Milroy’s disease

Milroy’s disease /mil′roiz/ [William Forsyth Milroy, American physician, 1855–1942] , congenital hereditary lymphedema of the legs caused by chronic lymphatic obstruction, sometimes involving additional areas, including the arms, trunk, and face. Also called congenital lymphedema, Meige’s disease, Milroy’s edema, Nonne-Milroy-Meige syndrome.
