Marchiafava-Micheli disease

Marchiafava-Micheli disease /mär′kyəfä″və mikā″lē/ [Ettore Marchiafava, Italian physician, 1847–1935; F. Micheli, Italian physician, 1872–1929] , a rare disorder of unknown origin characterized by abnormally high levels of hemoglobin in the urine, occurring episodically, usually (but not always) at night.
