lodoxamide /lo-dok′sämīd/ , a mast cell stabilizer that inhibits immediate hypersensitivity, applied topically to the eye as the tromethamine salt for treatment of allergen-induced conjunctivitis, keratitis, and keratoconjunctivitis.
