Lewy bodies

Lewy bodies /lā″wē, lo̅o̅″ē/ [Frederick H. Lewy, German neurologist, 1885–1950] , concentric spheres found inside vacuoles in midbrain and brainstem neurons of patients with idiopathic parkinsonism, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
