It should be used with caution in patients with diabetes because it may mask symptoms of hypoglycemia, particularly tachycardia. ▪ ADVERSE EFFECTS: Among the most serious adverse effects are orthostatic hypotension, fatigue, headache, skin rashes, scalp paresthesia, nausea, and vomiting.
