Koplik’s spots

Koplik’s spots /kop″liks/ [Henry Koplik, American pediatrician, 1858–1927] , small red spots with bluish-white centers on the lingual and buccal mucosa, characteristic of measles. The rash of measles usually erupts a day or two after the appearance of Koplik’s spots.
