interstitial cell-stimulating hormone (ICSH)

interstitial cell-stimulating hormone (ICSH), a hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary gland that stimulates the production of testosterone by the Leydig, or interstitial, cells of the testis. Also called luteinizing hormone.
