granuloma gluteale infantum

granuloma gluteale infantum, a skin condition of the neonate characterized by large elevated bluish or brownish red nodules on the buttocks. It often occurs as a secondary reaction to the application of strong steroid salves over time. The lesions routinely disappear within a couple of months after the use of the preparations is discontinued.
