Gordon’s reflex [Alfred Gordon, American neurologist, 1874–1953] , 1. an abnormal variation of Babinski’s reflex, elicited by compressing the calf muscles, characterized by dorsiflexion of the great toe and fanning of the other toes. It is evidence of disease of the pyramidal tract. 2. an abnormal reflex, elicited by compressing the forearm muscles, characterized by flexion of the fingers or of the thumb and index finger.
