glandular hypospadias

glandular hypospadias [L, glandula, small gland, hypo, under, spadōn, a rent] , the most common type of hypospadias, in which the urethral orifice opens at the site of the frenum, which may be rudimentary or absent. The normal site of the urinary meatus is represented on the glans penis as a blind pit. Also called balanic hypospadias.
