excretory urography

excretory urography [L, excernere, to separate; Gk, ouron, urine, graphein, to record] , the radiographic imaging of the urinary tract. Conventional radiography, computed tomography (CT) urography, and magnetic resonance (MR) urography are used to capture images of the urinary tract after use of an intravenous contrast material. Also called intravenous pyelography.
