clinical-crown/clinical-root ratio

clinical-crown/clinical-root ratio, the length of the part of a tooth that is coronal to the junctional epithelium divided by the length of the tooth’s root that is apical to the junctional epithelium. The ratio is useful in the diagnosis and prognosis of periodontal disease and treatment planning for fixed or removable prosthodontic restorations. Also called crown/root ratio.
