CK isoenzyme fraction

CK isoenzyme fraction, one of several blood-borne enzymes that are released after myocardial necrosis. The isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CK) is identified as MB isomer, or MB-CK, and is a diagnostic clue to heart damage. Formerly called creatine phosphokinase.
