chronic synovitis

chronic synovitis [Gk, chronos, time, syn, together; L, ovum, egg; Gk, itis, inflammation] , persistent inflammation of the synovial membrane of a joint. Kinds include chronic purulent synovitis, chronic serous synovitis. See also synovitis.
