It should not be administered to infants or lactating mothers. It should be used with caution in patients with renal, cardiac, and liver disorders. ▪ ADVERSE EFFECTS: Among the more serious adverse reactions are tachycardia and other side effects of anticholinergic medications. Drowsiness, skin rash, hypersensitivity reactions, and dry mouth commonly occur.
