Brudzinski’s sign

Brudzinski’s sign /bro̅o̅dzin″skēz/ [Josef Brudzinski, Polish physician, 1874–1917] , an involuntary flexion of the hip and knee when the neck is passively flexed. It can occur in patients with meningitis. Compare Kernig’s sign.
