Bouchard’s node

Bouchard’s node /bo̅o̅shärz″/ [Charles J. Bouchard, French physician, 1837–1915] , an abnormal cartilaginous or bony enlargement of a proximal interphalangeal joint of a finger, usually occurring in diseases of the joints, such as rheumatoid arthritis. Compare Heberden’s node.
