ariboflavinosis

ariboflavinosis /ārī′bōflā′vinō″sis/ [Gk, a, not, ribose; L, flavus, yellow; Gk, osis] , a condition caused by deficiency of riboflavin (vitamin B2) in the diet. It is characterized by bilateral lesions at the corners of the mouth, on the lips, and around the nose and eyes; by seborrheic dermatitis; and by various visual disorders. See also riboflavin.
