Wilberg, Swedish orthopedic surgeon, 1902–1988] , the angle formed by a line drawn perpendicular to a baseline that passes through the center of the femoral heads and a line connecting the center of the femoral head and the superior border of the acetabulum, used in radiographic evaluation of the hip joint. It is less than 20° in developmental dysplasia of the hip.
