thromboxane B2 (TXB2)

thromboxane B₂ (TXB₂), a stable metabolite of thromboxane A₂ that has an effect on polymorphonuclear cells and may possess chemotactic activity. It is released during anaphylaxis in laboratory animals. See also thromboxane A₂.
