Taussig-Bing syndrome /tô″sig-bing′/ [Helen B. Taussig, American pediatrician, 1898–1986; Richard J. Bing, American cardiologist, 1909–2010] , a developmental anomaly of the heart characterized by transposition of the aorta and pulmonary artery. It is accompanied by a subpulmonary ventricular septal defect and ventricular hypertrophy.
