CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hyperkalemia or known hypersensitivity to this drug prohibits its use.
ADVERSE EFFECTS: Among the more serious adverse effects are salivary gland swelling, metallic taste, rashes, and GI disturbances. Acute poisoning may result in angioedema and pulmonary edema.
