sirenomelia

sirenomelia /sī′rənəmē″lē·ə/ [Gk, seiren, mermaid, melos, limb] , a congenital anomaly in which there is complete fusion of the lower extremities and no feet. Also called apodial symmelia. Compare dipodial symmelia, monopodial symmelia, tripodial symmelia. See also sirenomelus.
