It is not given to pregnant women, nor is it given for 3 months after the use of plasma, whole blood, or immune serum globulin. Pregnancy should be avoided for 3 months after immunization. ▪ ADVERSE EFFECTS: Among the most serious adverse effects are severe hypersensitivity reactions and local pain.
