pyloric orifice

pyloric orifice [Gk, pyle, gate, ouros, guard; L, orificium, opening] , the opening of, or passage between, the stomach into the duodenum, lying to the right of the midline at the level of the upper border of the first lumbar vertebra. The orifice is usually indicated on the surface of the stomach by the circular duodenopyloric constriction.
