Pelger-Huët anomaly

Pelger-Huët anomaly /pel″gər hyo̅o̅″ət/ [Karel Pelger, Dutch physician, 1885–1931; G.J. Huët, Dutch physician, 1879–1970; Gk, anomalia, irregular] , an inherited disorder characterized by granulocytes with unusually coarse nuclear material and dumbbell-shaped or peanut-shaped nuclei. Normal nuclear segmentation does not occur, but there are no clinical consequences.
