multiple endocrine neoplasia, type I, a type of multiple endocrine neoplasia that includes tumors of the pituitary, parathyroid glands, and pancreatic islet cells, often with peptic ulcers and sometimes the Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. See also multiple endocrine neoplasia.
