anthralin /an″thrəlin/ , a topical antipsoriatic. 
INDICATIONS: It is prescribed in the treatment of psoriasis and chronic dermatitis. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Known hypersensitivity to this drug prohibits its use. It is not applied to acute psoriatic eruptions or near the eyes.
