Lineweaver-Burk transformation

Lineweaver-Burk transformation /lī″nwēvər burk″/ [Hans Lineweaver, American chemist, b. 1907; Dean Burk, American scientist, 1904–1988; L, transformare, to change shape] , a method of converting experimental data from studies of enzyme activity so that the data can be displayed on a linear plot. The linear form is derived by using reciprocals of both sides of the equation.
