Leser-Trélat sign

Leser-Trélat sign /lā″zər trālä″/ [Edmund Leser, German surgeon, 1828–1916; Ulysse Trélat, French surgeon, 1828–1890] , a condition of malignant cells present in the skin, characterized by the sudden onset of multiple seborrheic keratoses, with pruritus or enlargement of preexisting keratosis in older adults. It is associated with adenocarcinoma of the stomach, breast cancer, and lung cancer.
