The sessions consist of grafting the hair-bearing tissue over the bald area directly or using micrografts of follicles to restore the hairline. It is important that the patient have healthy hair growth on other parts of the head to serve as donor areas and that color, texture, and other aspects of a matching transplant be compatible.
