finger-nose test

finger-nose test [AS, finger + nosu + L, testum, crucible] , a test of the coordination of the arms. The patient is asked to draw the tip of the index finger quickly to the nose, then to touch the examiner’s finger, and then to go back and forth quickly. An inability to perform the test accurately may be an indication of cerebellar disease.
