cystadenocarcinoma /sis′tədē′nəkär′sinō″mə/ , a type of pancreatic tumor that evolves from a mucus cystadenoma. Clinical features include epigastric pain and a palpable abdominal mass that may also be seen by ultrasonography or computed tomographic scan. It is treated by surgical removal of the tumor or total pancreatectomy.
